Was there ever a greater dating show than MTV’s Singled Out? Those were the golden years of “music television,” when VH1 still ran Pop-Up Video and underprivileged-teen pregnancies weren’t glamorized to boost ratings. We miss it. Which is why were psyched to learn that Singled Out host and current Attack of the Show correspondent Chris Hardwick is coming to town. And though we’d be a whole lot more excited if he were singlehandedly resurrecting both Singled Out and Jenny McCarthy’s career, we’ll settle for his stand-up at the Wilbur Theatre.
