Anti-Huckabee Republicans may pound away at the released prisoner story as the purported victim was a 17-year-old third cousin cheerleader of then-governor Bill Clinton. Clinton, Arkansas Governor at the time of the incident, either recused himself (in the Michael Huckabee entry) or was instrumental in the defendant getting a long prison term that Huckabee, his successor as governor, deemed unduly harsh (in the Wayne DuMond entry).
