Video: Mitt Romney tells New Hampshire "I like being able to fire people" (and three more clips about Mittens and greed)

About half our crew is still staggering around New Hampshire with those maniacs from the GOP, who continue to embarass themselves and their party. That goes double for the frontrunner, our old friend Mittens, who will probably lock up the nomination tomorrow -- much to the delight of progressives, whose job is right now being done for them by Newt Gingrich and his merry band of political suicide bombers. The only question is whether Mitt will shoot himself in the foot before Newt gets a chance to kneecap him.

Take, for instance, the unfortunate way Mr. Romney chose to describe his healthcare plan. The funnest part of this clip is watching the alarm bells start blazing behind his robot eyes when he realizes what he's just said: 

Believe it or not, there are still credible political pundits who still take Romney's "I created 100,000 jobs" claim at face value. Even though anyone who's taken a cursory look at the claim points out that the Romney campaign refuses to take into account the number of jobs that were crushed and looted after Bain Capital was done sucking them dry. 

Even Romney's associates can't stomach this claim. As the Daily Beast reports, a former Romney advisor has shot a half-hour mini-documentary that lays out, in excrutiating detail, the real story of Romney's tenure at Bain. Quoth the narrator: "A story of greed. Playing the system for a quick buck. A group of corporate raiders, led by Mitt Romney. More ruthless than Wall Street. For tens of thousands of Americans, the suffering began when Mitt Romney came to town.”

Must've been a left-wing hatchet job, right? Those people just hate capitali--- wait, what's that you say? It was commissioned by a group with ties to Dick Cheney, and has just been acquired by a Newt Gingrich-supporting super-PAC? Oh man, this oughta be good:

If some of that sounds familiar, it should: Ted Kennedy's people were saying essentially the same things back in 1994. The Kennedy campaign never actually aired the clip below, but you can imagine someone (cough Santorum cough) dusting it off to follow up on Newt's claims. Not only did Romney's company destroy jobs, it also received -- wait for it! -- a $10 million government bailout:

So, to recap: the conservative wing of the Republican party is trying to smear the frontrunning candidate for its presidential nomination by saying the following: Romney says he creates jobs. Yet as the CEO for Bain Capital, Romney made millions from bankrupting companies and laying off workers. Does that sound about right?
