Does Art Matter?
Dec 17
Brewery Complex, Jamaica Plain, MA
(view map)
Which came first, the painter or the brush? If you read your poetry aloud and nobody listens, did you even make a sound? “Does Art Matter?”, the Urbano Project’s “celebration of art and activism,” might try to answer those questions. Urbano’s teen curators are putting on this interactive evening in which, underlining the importance of art education in today’s ever-changing world, they’ll present both visual and performance art and invite audience members to participate. Do you believe that art matters?
